Declaring a Major / Minor

At or before the end of the sophomore year (or upon completion of 60 credit hours), degree-seeking students must choose a major field of study. For an initial declaration of major, or a change from the major field already declared, students must file a Declaration/Change of Major Form with the Registrar's Office (Administration Building, 205). Students are then assigned an academic advisor who assists in planning their programs of study. If you wish to change your advisor, please contact your major department secretary where they can assist you with this process.  Students should refer to the school and/or departmental listings in the appropriate University Catalog for specific requirements.
