Career / Recruitment

• Career Fair:
  The Center for Career and Academic Planning invites you to promote your organization by providing company and career information during the CNU Career Fair. This event involves staffing a table and meeting informally with students as they drop by to ask questions.

  Our Career Fair is much more than a job fair. It brings students and employers together to share information. (Need employees now?? (opens new window))

  We invite you to use the CNU Career Fair as a recruiting opportunity to fill any available jobs (full time, part time or seasonal), internships, and co-ops in your organization.

• Post Job Announcements:
  The Center for Career and Academic Planning provides a free online database of job announcements to serve students and employers. To post a job announcement, log onto https://cnu-csm.symplicity.com/employers, register as an employer, and enter your information.
  
  If you have any questions about this service, or if you encounter any problems with the system, please contact our office at 757.594.8887.

• On-Campus Recruitment:
  We provide employers with free on-campus interviews, and space to conduct information sessions or host information tables. If you would like to schedule an on-campus visit, please download and complete the Recruitment Activity Form (opens new window).  Email the completed form to ocd@cnu.edu or fax to 757.594.8765.  Upon receipt of your completed form, you will be contacted.

• Resume Referral Service:
  We also offer a free online resume referral service to equal opportunity employers.  Please call 757.594.8887 to request resumes.  Be prepared to give our staff a job title, description of qualifications, duties, and other appropriate information such as geographic location of the position.
  
  We encourage you to post a full job description and information about your organization with our job posting service at https://cnu-csm.symplicity.com/employers.  This will assist the students you select in preparing for interviews.
